autoClássico 2024: the biggest ever!

From the 4th to the 6th of October, the 21st edition of the largest exhibition on the Iberian Peninsula will take place in Porto.

The 21st edition of the Exponor classic vehicle show will be the biggest ever, with an exhibition of supercars, more entertainment and the participation of former F1 driver Tiago Monteiro.

Pushed by the success of the twentieth anniversary edition, which took place in 2023, Eventos Motor is betting on great growth in 2024 for what was already the largest event in the sector on the Iberian Peninsula. The exhibition area will now grow to more than 66,000m2, not only to be able to meet more exhibitor demand, but also to include new areas and animations

Exclusive Top Car

This new area of the show will be attended by official representatives of new but collectible brands and models, that is, super sports cars and luxury models.

The organization thus capitalizes on the presence of the clientele of classic and collector car companies, while attracting owners of super sports and high-end models who will participate in rallies, parades and track regularity tests, dedicated to each brand's clubs.

The exhibition of super sports cars from different brands will be another attraction to ensure the visibility of this new event. All brands will be present through official representatives, who will present new or used vehicles.

Motorcycles will also be present, but only from the most exclusive brands on the market.

To create the ideal environment, there will be a restaurant in the pavilion with a menu designed by Chef Hélio Loureiro and also a bar and lounge reserved for exhibitor guests.

Tiago Monteiro in the hall and on the track at the Motorshow

This edition of autoClássico will pay tribute to the brilliant career of Portuguese driver Tiago Monteiro. As always enthusiastic, the driver didn't want to miss the opportunity to compete at the Motorshow, driving a Porsche GT3 Cup.

There will be an extended exhibition with machines used by the driver in his career, including those from WTCC and F1, as well as relevant objects from his career, such as costumes, helmets, photographs, trophies, etc.

Live interviews, autograph sessions and gatherings

Tiago Monteiro will take part in the AutoClássico/Motorbest Forum, where he will be interviewed at two different times by motoring journalist Hugo Reis. At the same time, there will be two autograph sessions.

In addition to Tiago Monteiro, the forum will also receive an international guest to be announced later and gatherings dedicated to the 125 years of Fiat and another dedicated to the 90 years of Filinto Mota, the representative of the Citroën brand, in which, among others, there will be talks themes, from the 50 years of CX.

Thematic exhibitions

For 2024 the organization, in cooperation with clubs and brand representatives, will invest in several commemorative thematic exhibitions.

Highlights include the celebration of MG's 100th anniversary, Fiat's 125th anniversary, Citroën Traction Avant's 90th anniversary, Citroën CX's 50th anniversary, Porsche 911 Turbo and Volkswagen Golf.

Motorshow with good ingredients

The Motorshow, promoted by XRacing, will once again feature a noble list of national speed and rally drivers, who will compete on the track for the final prize.

The new track, set up outside, will also be the stage for a passage of classic cars from the autoClássico Rally, organized by the Targa Clube.

Also noteworthy is the regularity test reserved for Porsche cars, which has the collaboration of the Porsche Club of Portugal.

Concours d'Elegane with parade

Seeking to continue with the high quality and importance of autoClássico Concours d'Elegance, this year the event will feature a parade, with the individual presentation of each car to the public and an awards giving moment that will feature the participation of Tiago Monteiro and a very special guest yet to be announced.
